Alpha Energy Signs MoU with Delta State Government, Nigeria

Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria - April 7, 2016: Nigerian Media Coverage of MoU Signing
Alpha Energy and Electric, Inc, signed an MOU with Delta State government of Nigeria on Thursday, April 7, 2016. The MOU is to design, develop, finance, construct, operate and maintain multiple power production plants in multiple locations in Delta state of Nigeria. It is estimated to be up to 500 megawatts. This 500 megawatts will be executed in phases; the first phase is estimated to be for up to 150 megawatts. We anticipate the total export of goods and services from USA for these initiatives to be in upwards of 65% of total project cost. We estimate our Power Africa Initiatives to yield between $800 million to $1.0 billion in U.S. exports to Africa.

Alpha Energy and Electric, Inc., is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company with emphasis on energy and power generation. Our renewable power generation options include captive power generations, embedded power generation, mini hydro energy generation plants, independent power generations, solar energy farms and waste-to-energy generation plants.
Alpha Energy and Electric, Inc., has been nominated for the 2016 Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and Mr. K Award. Previous awards include: 2015 Thinking Bigger Business, Smart Companies to Watch Award; 2014 KC Chamber Diverse Small Business of the Year Award; 2012 Rising Stars of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award; and 2012 U.S. (SBA) Minority Small Business of the Year for the Kansas City District Award.

Alpha Energy and Electric, Inc., was among the twenty American companies selected to participate in the Energy Business Development Trade Mission trip to West Africa in May, 2014, led by U. S. Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker. Alpha Energy and Electric, Inc., was also invited by the United States President to join the U.S. – Africa Leaders’ Summit in Washington, D.C. in August, 2014.

Both of these opportunities opened the doors enabling Alpha Energy to connect with a number of African leaders and establish relationships with the potential for business opportunities in Africa. The company’s vision in Nigeria is as much a business opportunity as it is an opportunity to touch the lives of many people in a very positive way.
