15KV Switchgear at the U.S. Department of Agriculture - APHIS campus in Ames, Iowa
We are proud of this major contract: In October 2011, Alpha Energy and Electric, Inc completed the installation of a 15KV Switchgear at the U.S. Department of Agriculture-APHIS campus in Ames, Iowa. This was part of USDA effort to prepare for future construction of additional office buildings and laboratories within the campus. The new switchgear offered this federal agency an opportunity to construct nine (9) new pairs of spare duct banks to power future construction work. The project also offered USDA the ability to monitor power usage in each of the various buildings on the campus through new digital PM850 metering system.
